Wine and Dine

I work closely with AIM on their visual branding as well as providing property photography for their completed projects. We chose a great day for this exterior and interior photography in West Sussex.

I was invited to shoot their food in a lifestyle setting for use in catalogues and online POS materials. The brief was to make the product stimulate the tastebuds and convince buyers to invest in the products for their outlets.

Headshots by the water

Time for a Brew!

Edgcumbes coffee roastery and tea blender near Arundel asked me to join them onsite to capture their products for their new ecommerce website. Capturing packaging and a range retailed products as well as photographing detailed close-ups of their beans and tea blends. The images then prepared with white backgrounds.

Floating Insoles

Conzuri came to me asking for futuristic photography of their range of elevating shoe insoles. Designed to increase your height from within the shoe. Some of the shots were taken on a flat surface while others were captured floating in the air. Futuristic backgrounds were added in post production.

Fast Food

It’s not all glamorous studio work with top end chefs when shooting food. The Beach Hut Cafe in Hamble asked me to pop down and grab some shots of the their takeaway food for their new online takeaway menu. I decided to spice things up with these colourful backdrops, simple coloured art paper. Although the menu is simple, these look great all together.

Facial Massage Gadget

I enjoy the challenges product photography presents. What may seem simple at first glance never is and this project was no exception. Getting this product to stand upright in order to light and compose correctly was a bit of a fiddle. For products available in multiple colours I sometimes prefer to shoot and retouch one, then digitally manipulate the colours to represent the alternatives. This way I get perfect reproductions consistent across the range.

A Starr Butcher!

Commissioned as part of a wider project for the Pavilion Tearoom at Stansted Park near Chichester, I have been visiting and documenting the amazing work of butchers, fishermen, and farmers who supply the tearoom in effort to promote and celebrate locally sourced produce. In this series I visited Starr Butcher in Emsworth to capture some images of Paul and Roger hard at work. Thanks fellas!

Perfect Petals

As part of a wider commission for the Pavilion Tearooms at Stansted Park near Emsworth, capturing the stories behind some of their most valued local suppliers, I visited Crosslands Flower Nursery and specialist of British Alstroemeria. The autumn sunshine blessed us with light which really gave these plants a wonderfully vibrant colour.

Hallgate Eggs

I had an afternoon of eggcitement at Hallgate Egg Farm on behalf of the Pavilion Tearoom at Stansted Park in West Sussex near Emsworth. As part of a wider commission for the Pavilion, my task has been to create a series of images to highlight the fantastic produce they offer while promoting the ‘local’ suppliers. What’s a ‘cracking’ idea!

Pick Your Own

The weather was perfect for my recent shoot at Garsons’ garden centre and pick your own fields in Esher. Commissioned by marketing agent The Marketplace to capture a series of images for use in promotional materials and press releases for the forthcoming seasons.

Selsey Crab

Commissioned by the Pavilion Tearoom at Stansted Park in West Sussex to produce a series of images that tells the story of their produce and where it comes from. The first in this series showcases Selsey Crab. I had the privilege of spending some time at sea with Toby who works for the family crabbing business, D&D Fisheries, based in Selsey, to capture him in his work hauling in crab and lobster pots before heading into the shop to see how the crab is extracted and presented.

Press coverage

It’s wonderful to see your work in use, especially as in this case, when the image is so good it’s used again and again. Here’s a shot a produced for Billy’s On The Beach in Chichester in 2017, in the weekend i-news.
